100 years of Technological Innovation for the Improvement of Patient's Lives
From glass nebulizers developed in the 1920’s to the vibrating mesh eFlow device in the 21st century directly paired with specific medications, PARI has led the way for improved aerosol delivery throughout the last century. In 1953 the “PARI nozzle” was developed which forms the basis of the jet technology used today in the LC® series of nebulizers. The PARI Aerosol Research Institute was formed in 1997 to continue the evolutionary development of systems to deliver the right medication, at the right size, to the correct part of the respiratory system resulting in the new electronic vibrating mesh eFlow. Refocusing in 2005 on nasal delivery to treat the upper airway, the PARI SINUS - Sinus Therapy System is a revolutionary leap forward in treatment of respiratory ailments. PARI continues the development of spacing chambers to handle the latest pMDI medications with the VORTEX® technology. In the latest development for humidification systems targeted at patients on mechanical ventilation and high flow gas therapy, Hydrate™ delivers unprecedented control over inspired gas temperature and humidity to the patient. With over 150 patents, PARI’s dedication to technological innovation has enabled us to stay at the forefront of aerosol science.
We would not be in this position of leadership and confidence today without the trust that has been placed in us by so many over the years – patients, their families, doctors and everyone involved in the treatment of respiratory diseases. We will continue to strive to remain worthy of that trust.
